Very precisely weigh very small items with the METTLER TOLEDO WMF weigh module which is especially targeted to machine builders for the pharma, medical, food and semiconductor industries: Only 25 mm/ 1 inch wide, fully-integrated electronics and PROFINET POE interface with industry standard M12 cable connection. WMF can be used in most challenging applications with tightest space requirements where there is a need for quick, real-time data transmission to your PLC. Capacities of 320 and 220g with 1mg and 0.1mg readability. Saves valuable machine and cabinet space because all electronics are built in. The sensor is protected against the harsh environments has a built-in overload stop as well as a, PLC-driven, internal test weight that allows you to adjust the sensitivity via the super-flexible PROFINET interface. Network lights are included to indicate working status. Quick and easy to install because METTLER TOLEDOs unique SAI protocol allows you to receive weight cyclically at 92 and 366Hz. Functions such as Zero, Tare, Clear can be executed cyclically, or acyclically. GSDML as well as sample code are available. A "Heartbeat" confirms system security, "Data Okay" tells you that the unit is in a "running condition (not in setup or powerup)" and Critical Alarms, such as "Out of Range" or "Over Temperature" are reported within milliseconds. Synchonization bits help you avoid any data errors.
