Das E805U-D Funkmodem stellt eine drahtlose Verbindung zwischen einer seriellen RS232 oder RS485 Schnittstelle zur Verfügung. Es ist eine kostengünstige drahtlose Alternative für die Verbindung von SPS’en, Datenloggern, Computern oder anderen seriellen Geräten. Das E805U-wurde für den unkomplizierten und einfachen Einsatz entwickelt. Das Funkmodem ist kompakt und hat das Funkmodul, Spannungsversorgung und serielle Schnittstellen in einem robusten industriellen Gehäuse integriert. Die Funkübertragung erfolgt über die Lizenzfreie 869 MHz Funkfrequenz mit einer Leistung von 500 mW und hat eine Reichweite von bis zu 5 km. Die Montage erfolgt einfach und zuverlässig auf DIN-Hutschiene.
