Th Gateway UE4140 is a decentralized input/output module to integrate safety components into the PROFIsafe system via IP20 connection technology. It is certified according to IEC 61508 SIL3 and EN 954-1, category 4. The Gateway appropriate 2 EFI connectors for active SICK safety solution for read and write access from PLC to the connected device and detailed diagnostics. Advanced functions of connected SICK safety devices can be used, like switching of field sets of laserscanner, etc.. By Windows Software full configuration- and diagnostics- access to the gateway and connected devices are available. Connectable SICK devices are, Laserscanner S3000 and S300, Lightcurtain C4000 and Multiple lightbeam device M4000.
