Product description:

The 460MMPBS moves data between a group of Modbus RTU Slave devices and a Profibus DP enabled PLC. With the 460MMPBS you have a device that you can quickly deploy and easily web configure to access and integrate these devices into your Automation systems over a Profibus DP Network.

You can both send data to your Modbus RTU Slave devices from a Profibus DP Master and receive data from your RTU Slaves using both Modbus Registers and Coils. A Total of 400 16-bit unsigned Registers and 800 Coils can be mapped from each Modbus RTU Slave device to a slot in the Profibus DP object model.

The 460MMPBS maps each Modbus device to a corresponding Slot in the Profibus I/O map. Your first Modbus device is mapped to the first Profibus slot. The second is mapped to the second, and so on. Register and Coil data is automatically transferred between each Modbus device to a slot in the Profibus DP object model.
