Product description:

The PBDP-110 Dual External PROFIBUS Interface provides PROFIBUS connectivity to Toshiba 7-Series and 9-Series ASDs (G7/A7/S7/S9/S11/nC1 etc.)

Network: Supports all PROFIBUS baud rates up to 12Mbaud.

Isolation: The PBDP-110 has 3 separate isolated circuitry sections: each drive is fully optically isolated from each other, and both drives are optically isolated from the PROFIBUS network.

Drive Connections: The PBDP-110 provides support for simultaneous connection of two common-serial port-enabled Toshiba drives, which share a common PROFIBUS station address. Drive connections use the same standard RJ45 style 8-conductor UTP patch cables: any standard CAT5 Ethernet cable (found in most electronics stores) 5 meters or less in length can be used to connect the PBDP-110 to the drives.

Modular I/O: Four different modular I/O data sizes are available, depending on the number of connected drives and the need for acyclic data access.

Accessible ASD data: All control, status and configuration parameters are available via the PROFIBUS network.

Drive AutoScan Algorithm: Connections to the drives are automatically established and continuously monitored: no drive configuration is required.

Versatile 3-Way DIN-Rail Mounting System: The enclosure is provided with a mounting clip attached to the rear of the unit.
