PAD-250MAe-PN
The product line PDnetIP maintains with PAD-250MAe-PN among a mulitude of important industrial ethernet solutions also PROFINET. APEX continues thereby with the development of open communication systems already started more than 20 years ago. PAD-250MAe-PN is a PROFINET IO-Device for connection of process peripherals of the systems A130, A250, A350 and A500. With application of PAD-250MAe-PN a proprietary solution will be exchanged for a flexible, powerful and sustainable one.
For retool purposes in every rack’s first slot the up to now installed card as well as the power supply unit will be substituted for the PAD-250MAe-PN. Additional changes with regard to hardware are not required. For this reason the conversion is very easy and not a road of no return.
The exchange of cards can be called off at any time because the wiring of the IO-cards remains unmodified. Therefore implementings can be conducted without risks also on weekends and during maintenances. The costs for retooling disperse to all IO-signals because of the modernization of racks in whole. Installation of new hardware in conjunction with necessary new wiring and implementing is hardly possible to the price of a PAD-250MAe-PN.
PAD-250MAe-PN makes data of the IO-cards available in PROFINET.
Also available are detailed diagnostic data with whose help it is possible to make a differentiated analysis of annoyances (mistakes in cards or configuration).
The two ethernet-ports in PAD-250MAe-PN permit a direct wiring from rack to rack. Further ethernet-switches are not necessarily required.
The retooled system provides an excellent performance and enables a seamless integration into numerous modern control systems. In comparison with other solutions for data migration
PAD-250MAe-PN stands out due to an open concept. The existing networking will be substituted for a superior technical system. Availability of IO-cards is permanently warranted by means of repair service of the maintained IO-cards.
Details: PAD-250MAe-PN can be integrated into all racks DTA 102, DTA 112, DTA 103 and DTA 113. PAD-250MAe-PN maintains the following IO-cards: DAP 102, DAP 103, DAP 104, DAP 106, DAP 112, DAP 116, DAP 132, DEP 132, ADU 115, ADU 116, DAU 104, DAU 108 and DAU 109.
