SK 180E – The low-cost decentralised frequency converter

With the frequency converters in the SK 180E product range, NORD Drivesystems is providing low-cost drive solutions in the lower power range that are decentrally mounted on the motor. The SK 180E devices can be easily adapted to specific requirements using optional modules, and can therefore communicate with all of the most popular controllers via different bus systems (such as Profibus). The SK 180E frequency converters can be operated with the classical V/f control and also with a sensor-less current vector controller. With the aid of an integrated mains filter, the SK 180E motor-mounted frequency converter achieves ENC class C1 with a simultaneous leakage current of < 16 mA - a combination without equal among frequency converters. It can therefore be used in living environments without additional measures.
