Product description:

The Process Automation MFG-420 mass flow gauge consists of a non-invasive
gamma type density gauge and a suitable flow meter, fitted to a process pipe
which carries a slurry or solution.
The Process Automation mass flow gauge is extensively used in the mining industry
or wherever slurries or solutions are transported in pipe lines.
The density gauge measures the mass of the wet process material in the pipe.
It receives a velocity signal from a suitable flow meter such as a magmeter or
Doppler flow meter, and computes the mass flow in the pipe line.
The total mass flow may be displayed/transmitted, or the carrier liquid may be
substracted to display/transmit the dry mass flow in tonnes/h or any other suitable unit.
Slurry density may be displayed/transmitted as well as the total tonnes conveyed.
The same UNIPRO signal processor is used as for belt scales, density gauges
and weighfeeders. The flow rate or the density may be controlled.
Serial and fieldbusses supported.
