IS1+ with Ethernet communication is a remote I/O system for the installation in explosive atmospheres Zone 1 and 2 or DIV 1 and DIV 2. The system is based on intrinsic safety and does not require explosion protected Ex d or Ex p enclosures. Besides PROFINET protocol the system also supports Modbus TCP and EtherNet/IP communication. A large range of I/O modules with intrinsically and non-intrinsically safe signals and our offering of various customized field enclosures make IS1+ the most flexibel solution in hazardous areas.
