The PC software FMS-5613 Edition 2005 is used for the FMS protocol including PG and FDL for the communications processors CP 5613 A2, CP 5613 FO, CP 5614 A2 and CP 5614 FO for 32 Bit Windows XP Professional incl. V6.0 for 32 Bit Windows NT4.0 WS, server and Windows 2000 Pro, server. The communications processors can be used as a standalone master for connecting PROFIBUS stations.The FMS programming interface allows the interconnection of PCs and controllers (e.g. SIMATIC S5/S7) and field devices with FMS capabilityfrom various manufacturers. The use of the FMS protocol ensures opencommunication.The FMS protocol provides functions for initialization, database handling,data transfer and control.This software package includes the FMS OPC server, NCM PC and electronic manual on CD-ROM.
