The Guided Level Radar measures the distance from the reference point (process connection of the measuring device) to the product surface and provides many remarkable benefits:

The Guided Level Radar is designed for a very long service life. High frequency pulses are injected to a probe and led along the probe. The pulses are reflected by the product surface, received by the electronic evaluation unit and converted into level information. This method is also known as TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry). Guided Level Radars are selectable with:

• rod, coax or rope probe
• measuring range up to 45 m (148 ft)
• process connection in thread or with adapter flange
• temperature range up to 200 °C (392 °F)
• pressure range up to 40 bar (600 psi)
• high accuracy: digital ±2 mm (±0.08 inch) or analog 0.02%
• up to SIL3 according to IEC 61508
