ERTEC 400 Development Kit

Renesas Electronics provides developers of PROFINET IO devices with a tool platform for developing and testing their hardware and software functionality. Customers can set up a network with PROFINET IRT support almost out of the box and at low overall cost and effort.
The EB 400 development board is designed to be operated as a PROFINET IO device; it helps to try out various memory and boot options and is hardware extendable. The kit can be operated with the leading-edge open source RTOS eCos. A powerful, Eclipse-based IDE can be downloaded from the www; a simple JTAG-based hardware debug tool is included in the package. These allow free exploration of the kit\\\'s possibilities; the IRT-capable PROFINET IO device stack, that is included in source code, saves customers manyears of development work. Only customer-specific application software needs to be added.
