Control Builder F supports off- and on-line configuration of the AC 800F and Freelance 2000 controller. Thanks to its object orientation and its integrated features like user defined function blocks the software offers unmatched flexibility. Control Builder F uses the IEC 61131-3 languages (FBD, IL, LD, SFC, ST) to ensure system independent engineering as far as possible.
Control Builder F has built-in support for Foundation Fieldbus, PROFIBUS and HART device configuration using the advanced concept of Device Type Managers (DTMs). Control Builder F tunnels HART commands via PROFIBUS and can communicate with all HART dervices conneted to a HART-remote I/O.
Control Builder F is part of ABBs Industrial IT approach and supports Operate IT.
