Process Automation manufactures a wide range of conveyor belt scales for control
and accounting purposes. The EMB-200 series consists of fourteen models ranging
from low cost belt load monitors, through control, plant-balance and certified
payment scales. Three gamma belt scales are also offered. All models use the
UNIPRO signal processor. The scales are extensively used in the mining,
power generation, cement and chemical industrie or wherever process material
is transported on conveyor belts or for belt weighfeeders. Belt scales are
equipped with an on-board test weight to facilitate speedy calibration checks,
which may be carried out with a running or stationary belt.
Most models are counterbalanced so as to weigh only the product on the belt.
Calibration and set-up is achieved via a menue of prompts to eliminate the
human element. Error calculation and calibration correction are automatic
functions.
