Product description:

The ASD-MULTICOM-A option card provides the ability to connect various communication networks and pulse generator/feedback sources to the Toshiba G7/A7-series ASDs. Two different types of pulse input circuitry are provided, which allow very flexible application and connectivity to a wide array of PG devices available on the market today. In addition, the card also provides direct connectivity to the most popular fieldbus networks in use today, including RS-485-based Modbus RTU, PROFIBUS DP and DeviceNet.

PROFIBUS Implementation
- Supports all baud rates up to 12Mbaud
- 16 different modular I/O data sizes available, ranging from 4 to 40 bytes in size

- Selectable power supply output voltage (5v / 6v / 12v / 15v)
- Selectable line driver or open-collector type inputs

LED Indicators
- Bi-color module status and network status LEDs
- PROFIBUS DATA_EXCH LED
